Container refund drop-off locations
Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic) is a State Government initiative. You can earn 10 cents per eligible drink container returned.
There are multiple drop-off locations across the City of Casey. They include self-serve vending machines, drive-through sites, and over-the-counter facilities.
City of Casey community facilities
The City of Casey has four council community facilities operating over-the-counter drop-off services:
- Autumn Place Community Hub
29 Autumn Place, Doveton - Lynbrook Community Centre
2 Harris Street Lynbrook - Eliston Family & Community Centre
20 Eliston Avenue Clyde - Cranbourne West Community Hub
4 Flicka Blvd Cranbourne West
How it works
Council officers at these locations will take 30-100 acceptable containers over the counter. Please count the items before arriving. You will need to have a registered account with CDS Vic East so we can process the transaction immediately, and Return-It can make a payment to you electronically. Alternatively, you can donate the payment to the charity of your choice that is registered with the program.
The community facility drop-off sites support in-house programs. Each centre will raise funds for improvements or events.
Tips for using the program
- Do not crush your cans or bottles
- Ensure they are empty with lids on and the bar code in place
- Visit the centre during opening hours
